This page has been set up to collect donations to Scripps Mesa Fireworks, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization established to help the communities of Scripps Ranch and Mira Mesa in San Diego celebrate a meaningful family oriented Independence Day.
Scripps Mesa Fireworks, in partnership with the Mira Mesa Community 4th of July Committee, presents the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show. The fireworks are set off from the upper athletic field of Mira Mesa High School at 9:00 PM on the Fourth of July. The show is visible from many areas around both communities. The fireworks are produced by San Diego Fireworks/PyroSpectaculars, and are synchronized to music from radio station KYXY on 96.5 FM.
The fireworks cost $25,000 this year and are supported entirely through fundraising events and donations from local residents and businesses. You can send checks to Scripps Mesa Fireworks, P.O. Box 261264, San Diego, CA 92196-1264, or donate online with a credit card by clicking the "Donate" button below. Donations are managed by PayPal, but a PayPal membership is not required. All donations are tax deductible.
