MMTC Main Program Double Feature: 4th of July Fun is Just Around the Corner, plus News from the Mayor’s Office!

Scripps Mesa Fireworks, the volunteer non-profit group which raises funds for the fabulous local 4th of July fireworks display, will announce the student winner(s) of this year’s Third Annual T-Shirt Design Contest at the April 8 Mira Mesa Town Council meeting. Scripps Mesa Fireworks chair Michael Spencer said they have place an order for this year’s t-shirts and hope to have them available at the meeting for a donation to the fireworks. Find out more about plans for this year’s Mira Mesa 4th of July Parade, which will have the theme, “50 Years: A Community for the World,” as well as Fun Day in Mira Mesa Community Park, events planned by the MMTC 4th of July Committee. Applications to be in the parade and for Fun Day vendors are now online at the MMTC website. Fourth of July fun is just around the corner!

In addition, the April 8 MMTC meeting will feature Eric Young, Mayor Faulconer’s representative to the Mira Mesa area, with News from the Mayor’s Office.

The meeting will take place Monday, April 8, 7pm in the Mira Mesa Library community room, 8405 New Salem Street, San Diego CA 92126. Note that the meeting is the second Monday since the first Monday is a holiday.
