COVID-19 Closures and Hours of Operation

Schools, San Diego Unified School District

All San Diego Unified schools will be closed effective Monday, March 16, 2020.

Schools will remain closed until April 6, 2020, unless conditions call for an extension.

Libraries, City of San Diego

All City of San Diego Libraries will be closed to the public from Monday, March 16 until April 6, 2020. All programming and events have been postponed or canceled during this time. Online library services remain available to the public.

Parks & Recreation, City of San Diego

The City will be closing all recreation centers and pools beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, and all programming has been canceled. Recreation centers will reopen Monday, April 6 unless an extension is warranted. All City parks will remain open to the public and all public restrooms will be open and accessible during operating hours. Additional maintenance will be conducted to ensure park restroom facilities are clean and fully stocked.

Mira Mesa Senior Center

The Mira Mesa Senior Center, as part of the Parks & Recreation department, will be closed beginning Monday, March 16 and will reopen Monday, April 6 unless an extension is warranted.
