Mira Mesa High School alumnus (Class of 2010) and NFL Starting Running Back for the Kansas City Chiefs, Damien Williams, served as Grand Marshal for the Mira Mesa Town Council’s 45th annual Fourth of July Parade. 10,000 spectators were in attendance for the parade.

“I am honored to recognize Mira Mesa High School alumnus, Damien Williams. Damien Williams is a proud Mira Mesan and returns regularly to the school’s football field. He is often seen volunteering, giving advice, and motivating the players,” stated Councilmember Chris Cate.

With over 80,000 residents, Mira Mesa is a thriving community and one of San Diego’s best neighborhoods for raising a family. 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of Mira Mesa as a community.
