The Mira Mesa Town Council today announces the postponement of the 46th annual Fourth of July Parade, Fun Day, and Fireworks Show. “After reviewing the most recent statements by the City, County, State, and CDC, it is obvious that we will not be able to host this event on July 4th in its traditional format. Even if we were to be allowed to stage an event on July 4th, the restrictions that would be required and the cost of implementing them would prevent us from presenting the event” said Mira Mesa Town Council president Bari Vaz. “Instead we will work to present a smaller event at a later date, at a time when the community can come together without restrictions or concern that doing so may jeopardize their health.”
