MIRA MESA INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2026
The Mira Mesa Town Council is hosting a community Independence Day Celebration at Hourglass Field Community Park from 4 PM to 9:30 PM on July 3rd, 2026. There will be fireworks set off from the fields by Wangenheim Middle School across Black Mountain Road at 9:00 PM. There will be a community picnic from 4 PM to 9:30 PM at Hourglass Field Community Park leading up to the fireworks. There will be plenty of room to picnic and there will be a kids zone, food trucks, vendor and crafter booths. There will be a car show in the parking lot on the north side of the field starting at 4:00 PM. We have received word from Miramar College that parking enforcement will be relaxed for July 3, 4:00p-9:30p, so you can park in the Miramar College parking lots without fear of getting a ticket.

Fireworks
