The 22nd annual Mira Mesa Street Fair was held on October 1, 2022, 10 AM to 5 PM, Camino Ruiz from Mira Mesa Blvd. to New Salem St. Attendees enjoyed live music and other entertainment on two stages, a Fun Zone with pony rides for children as well as inflatables and other attractions for kids and teens, and a food court with an international flair!

Mira Mesa Street Fair Saturday, October 5, 2019: The 21st annual Mira Mesa Street Fair was held on October 5, 2019, 10 AM to 5 PM, Camino Ruiz from Mira Mesa Blvd. to New Salem St. There was entertainment on two stages, international food, a fun zone with inflatables, children’s activities including pony rides and a solar telescope for a close-up view of the sun! The US Marines brought their Explosive Ordinance Disposal robots. Hanson Aggregates brought its big earth moving loader. Information was provided about Mira Mesa past and present at the “big top” information tent with displays and volunteers from the Mira Mesa Town Council, Recreation Advisory Group, and Community Planning Group. Mira Mesa Street Fair Committee: Mira Mesa Street Fair committee meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the Fourth Thursday of each month from April through August at the Mira Mesa Community Office (or via Zoom), and all Thursdays in September until the event (See calendar for any changes). Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come to our meetings and help us put on this great community event.

Mira Mesa Street Fair History
The first Mira Mesa Street Fair was organized by the Mira Mesa Town Council in 1999 and has now become a regular annual event on the first Saturday in October. The Mira Mesa Street Fair is completely organized and hosted by community volunteers. It has quickly earned a reputation as one of the best ‘community fairs’ in the county. The Street Fair committee is dedicated to maintaining the community atmosphere and minimizing the commercialization that has come with growth of many of the other events held around the county.
The Street Fair is held on Camino Ruiz, which is the North/South street next to the Mira Mesa Branch Library, and extends the entire block from New Salem to Mira Mesa Blvd. (Map). Enjoy a fun filled festival atmosphere that is the perfect mix of entertainment, food and exhibitors. Displays include Arts & Crafts vendors, local businesses and civic groups. Visit the Kid’s Zone and 2 community stages.
