In response to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the Southern California region, and the projected availability of ICU beds in San Diego dropping below 0%, the Mayor has issued an executive order authorizing SDPD and the City Attorney’s office to enforce all of the current COVID-19 restrictions in place, including the Stay At Home order, requirements regarding face coverings, restrictions on activity between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., and business restrictions. The executive order includes fines of up to $1,000 for violations and is effective as of 12/31/2020.
