MMTC Hosts Schools Night Oct 4 via Zoom Featuring Principals of K-12 Mira Mesa Cluster Schools.

The Mira Mesa Town Council is continuing its tradition of hosting a “Schools Night” featuring principals of K-12 schools in Mira Mesa as the main program at its October meeting. The meeting will take place via Zoom Monday, October 4, 2020, at 7pm. The public is invited!

All 10 principals in the Mira Mesa Cluster of Mira Mesa High and its feeder schools have been invited, and most have already confirmed they will participate. Principals scheduled to attend include:

Darius Ashton, Ericson Elementary School
Lindsay Burningham, Sandburg Elementary School
Deidre Hardson, Jonas Salk Elementary School
Jesse Harrison, Mason Elementary School
James Lee, Hage Elementary School
Tobie Pace, Hickman Elementary School
Regina Serbin, Walker Elementary School (new in 2021-22)
Matthew Fallon, Wangenheim Middle School
Erik Sullivan, Challenger Middle School
Jeffrey Sabins, Mira Mesa High School

According to Hickman principal Tobie Pace, the principals will share an updated slide presentation “about our 10 wonderful schools!”

In addition, principals of Good Shepherd Catholic School and Christ the Cornerstone Lutheran School, two longtime private schools in Mira Mesa, are invited to be part of the program.

Each of the principals will speak for about 3-4 minutes, sharing “something special” about themselves, their schools, students and parents, as well as any upcoming special programs this school year.

San Diego Unified School District Board Member Sabrina Bazzo will also speak at the Oct. 4 meeting.
