Volunteer of the Year Dinner Invitation and Reservation

The Volunteer of the Year Dinner honoring Jennifer Kvalvik has been postponed due to COVID-19. New date TBD. Reservations and scholarship donations can still be made using the form below.

Reception and cocktails start at 6:00 PM followed by dinner and program at 7:00 PM. Here is the invitation. The Volunteer of the Year Dinner is sponsored by the Mira Mesa Town Council and the Mira Mesa Community Foundation.

To sign up for the dinner, either RSVP and pay online using the form below, or send a check with names of those attending to the MMTC mailbox: Mira Mesa Town Council, PMB 230, 10606-8 Camino Ruiz, San Diego,  CA 92126 together with this RSVP form. The cost of the dinner is $45 if reservation is made by April 10, 2020, increasing to $55 on a space available basis after that date.

Each year at the time of the Volunteer of the Year dinner the Mira Mesa Town Council also takes donations in recognition of our honoree to the college scholarship fund that MMTC awards to graduating high school seniors based on their community service. In addition to attending the dinner, you can honor Jennifer by making a scholarship fund donation in any amount.

To reserve online, please enter the names of those attending in the box below. The buffet dinner will include:

  • Chicken Teriyaki with Rice Pilaff, Chef’s Choice of Vegetable, Rolls & Butter
  • Specialty House Salad – Grilled Chicken, Spring Mix, Dried Cranberries, Walnuts, Feta Cheese, Balsamic Vinaigrette

Scholarship donations will be held and passed on to the Mira Mesa Community Foundation for the Verne Goodwin Scholarship Fund. The Mira Mesa Community Foundation is a 501c(3) nonprofit corporation and scholarship donations are tax deductible.
